Dinoblade release date

Dinoblade released on July 23, 2026, exclusively on Steam for Windows PC. It launched as a single-player soulslike action RPG from developer Team Spino LLC and publisher Boltray Games, after a free demo in October 2025 built the game past 500,000 Steam wishlists.

Dinoblade price and launch discount

The full launch price is $19.99. A 10% launch discount brings it to $17.99, and that discount runs through July 30, 2026. If you are on the fence, the free demo (below) is the zero-risk way to try the combat first.

Platforms

At launch Dinoblade is available only on PC (Steam / Windows). There is no PS5, Xbox, Switch or mobile version yet — we break down the full platform situation, including the PS5 question, in our Dinoblade platforms guide.

How is Dinoblade doing on Steam?

Dinoblade had a strong launch by indie standards:

  • Very Positive Steam rating (around 89% positive across its first days).
  • Hit No. 1 on Steam's Popular Releases chart on launch day.
  • Passed 500,000 wishlists before release, driven by the viral original animation and a well-received demo.
  • Ships with 29 Steam achievements, full controller support, Steam Cloud and Steam leaderboards.

For a debut title built largely by one developer, that is a notable commercial and critical result.

Launch patch (July 23, 2026)

The day-one patch addressed early player feedback. The headline fixes:

  • Fixed a key-binding bug that could lock players out of the block/parry input after remapping controls.
  • Lowered loud explosion audio.
  • Made minor boss-fight balance adjustments.

If you ran into the parry-button issue on day one, updating to the latest build resolves it.

Is there a Dinoblade demo?

Yes. A free demo is available on Steam, covering roughly the first hour of the game — the Dry Canyons route through the Kira, Axe and Kasei boss encounters. Progress and feel carry over conceptually to the full game, so it is the best way to decide whether the Sekiro-style parry combat clicks for you before spending anything.
