Dinoblade Walkthrough: Opening Bosses Kira, Axe & Kasei

Dinoblade opening walkthrough for Dry Canyons: beat Kira, Axe and Kasei with Resolve/parry tips, then continue via the full boss route.

Scope of this walkthrough

This page covers the opening Dry Canyons route through Kira, Axe and Kasei. It is not presented as a copied full-game route or a complete item checklist. Later encounters are tracked in the boss database, where verification status is visible.

Before Kira

Use the first enemy groups and checkpoint area to learn the three resources that matter most:

  • Resolve: pressure it with attacks and timed parries to create an Instinct Counter opening.
  • Stamina: keep enough in reserve to respond after your own attack.
  • Resonance: spend it on Soul Arts only when the opening is clear.

The official attribute name is Strength, not “Damage.” There is no single mandatory early allocation for every player; Strength shortens fights, while Health and Stamina can make learning safer.

Kira

Kira is the first named boss in the corroborated encounter order and the best place to practice the Resolve loop. Watch the complete animation, answer with one deliberate defensive input and avoid turning a missed parry into repeated panic inputs.

The developer has confirmed that red-glint attacks cannot be blocked normally but can be parried. Treat the glint as a change in defensive rule, not proof that every such move must be dodged.

Axe

Axe changes the timing by using slower, heavier-looking attacks. Do not parry the wind-up; react to the actual strike. Preserve stamina so a delayed swing does not catch you at zero.

Boss victories can provide Boss SP and defeated bosses can become summons, but exact reward timing and passive effects should be checked in the live build rather than assumed from old demo footage.

Kasei

Kasei is the Alpha encounter closing this opening route. According to the developer interview, each Alpha blocks progress to the next map and awards 3 Boss SP. That makes Kasei both a combat check and a progression gate.

Use the same fundamentals rather than relying on a fixed damage script: learn the phase rhythm, keep healing for confirmed openings and do not empty stamina during a punish window.

Where the full game continues

The full release continues beyond the demo route through additional named bosses and Alpha encounters, ending with Maakyuurii. Defeating the final boss unlocks Boss Rush, as stated on the official Steam page.
